Anna Cimenti nasce il 12 aprile 1968 in un ambiente familiare dove musica e arte sono "linfa vitale".            Da una parte gli zii paterni, che sono amanti di musica operistica, dall'altra i nonni materni che, da ragazzi, hanno fatto parte di una compagnia teatrale dialettale (all'epoca era una rarità, si parla del periodo prima della seconda guerra mondiale).

All'età di sette anni inizia a studiare pianoforte e, nonostante sia molto giovane, le viene riconosciuta una dote naturale .

A ventitré anni consegue il Diploma di Pianoforte al Conservatorio "A. Pedrollo" di Vicenza, a cui fa seguito un anno di approfondimento di pianoforte jazz .

Ma un'altra passione sarà determinante nella scelta del suo percorso artistico, un talento che le consente di esprimere al meglio se stessa e un bisogno irrefrenabile di cui non puo' piu' fare a meno: l'arte del canto.

Una voce particolare che fin da bambina sprigiona un suo carattere gioioso e un'energia infinita. Un'anima piena di vitalità e positività, ma che ha bisogno di essere indirizzata.

Anna è una ragazza curiosa e appassionata e questo la spinge a studiare la musica seriamente prendendo due strade parallele: il jazz e la lirica.

Frequenta Masterclass con insegnanti stranieri tra il 1992 e il 2004 (Sheila Jordan, Jay Clayton, Mark Murphy, Nancy Marano, Vivian Lord-Aldge, Rachel Gould, Kate Baker, solo per citarne alcuni) e all'età di ventotto anni supera l'esame di Canto Lirico Inferiore (pari al Triennio Accademico odierno) al Conservatorio "A.Pedrollo" di Vicenza studiando prima come privatista all'Istituto Manzato di Treviso, sotto la guida di Elisabetta Tandura e poi sempre da privatista con Elisabetta Battaglia.

Canta come solista in gruppi di vario genere dal pop (LENONO, gruppo al femminile, HEARTLY HEAVEN, brani inediti) al blues-rock di Robben Ford (POLLO BAND) al soul funky di Chaka Khan , Aretha Franklin e funk anni 70/80 (SIFASOUL) all'acid jazz degli Incognito (BLACKJAM). La sua voce viene apprezzata anche nel campo della musica Dance e incide brani per etichette indipendenti e non (GENERAL RECORDS, Verona; MEDIA RECORDS, Brescia; PROPRIO RECORDS, Milano; STUDIO BWL, Milano; ZIIOZOO PRODUCTIONS, Modena; UNITED STUDIOS, Udine). E' fermamente convinta che tutte queste esperienze daranno vita ad un'artista completa e poliedrica, ma è lo studio che la rende competente in tale campo.

I numerosi viaggi all'estero fanno parte del suo carattere curioso verso l'ignoto (New York, Buffalo, Toronto, Filadelfia, Boston,Londra,Amsterdam, Monaco,Tour del Messico, San Diego, Los Angeles,Salisburgo,Vienna,Croazia,Singapore,Tour della Malesia,Tour dell'Australia,Tour dell'Egitto,Malaga) e aprono la sua mente più di ogni altra esperienza.

Venuta a conoscenza del Metodo Monari (Bologna), nel 1998 consegue il diploma di terapista frequentando il centro e ispira a quest'ultimo il suo metodo di insegnamento lavorando sulla struttura muscolare, sciogliendo tensioni che bloccano l'uso corretto del corpo . Sempre alla ricerca di nuove tecniche vocali ,approda alla Mixed-Voice durante il Congresso "Voce Pura"nell'aprile del 2018 a Verona, tecnica che semplifica l' impostazione della voce sia per l'insegnante che per l'allievo.

Prosegue l'insegnamento collaborando con diverse scuole di musica ma nel 2012 da vita all'Associazione Note Vocali e con essa organizza musical per i suoi allievi per introdurli professionalmente nel mondo dello spettacolo .

Durante questo periodo abbastanza lungo si assenta dalle esibizioni live e diventa mamma di due bellissimi bambini.

Nel  2018 ritorna alla musica e, dopo una Masterclass con il Maestro Barry Harris a Novembre a Bologna (alla quale faranno seguito altre tre a Roma), capisce che l'insegnamento non e' più sufficiente a colmare il vuoto creato dalla sospensione delle performance live e spinta dal riconoscimento del suo talento da parte di una figura così autorevole ritorna a cantare con formazioni jazz.             

Seguono le Masterclass di Massimo Cavalli (2019),Jorge Rossy (2021),Ares Tavolazzi (2022) al Conservatorio di Vicenza ,quella tenuta da Sandy Patton (2022-2023) e Rodney L.Bradley Matthews (2023) durante il Bobby Durham's Festival a Livorno e a Darfo (BS).

Nell'Agosto 2019 registra il suo primo disco jazz intitolato "After the rain" supportata da un gruppo di amici musicisti e comprende che "non si tratta più di un puro e semplice ritorno, bensì di un esserci definitivamente".

Nell' Agosto 2021 registra il suo secondo disco jazz intitolato "Spirits" .

Il 7 Luglio 2022 consegue il Diploma  Accademico di II Livello in Canto Jazz e Discipline Musicali  presso il Conservatorio "A.Pedrollo" di Vicenza.

Nel Novembre 2022 registra il suo terzo disco intitolato "Re-Birth".

Nell' Aprile 2023 registra il suo quarto disco "Chet's mood".

Anna Cimenti was born on April 12th, 1968 in a family environment where music and art are "lifeblood". On the one hand the paternal uncles, who are lovers of opera music, on the other the maternal grandparents who, as children, were part of a dialect theater company (at the time it was a rarity, we are talking about the period before the Second World War ).

At the age of seven she began studying piano and, despite being very young, she was recognized as a natural gift.

At the age of twenty-three she obtained the Piano Diploma at the "A. Pedrollo" Conservatory in Vicenza, followed by a year of study in jazz piano.

But another passion will be decisive in the choice of her artistic path, a talent that allows her to better express herself and an unstoppable need that she can no longer do without: the art of singing.

A particular voice that since she was a child releases her own joyful character and infinite energy. A soul full of vitality and positivity, but which needs to be addressed.

Anna is a curious and passionate girl and this pushes her to study music seriously by taking two parallel paths: jazz and opera.

She attended Masterclasses with foreign teachers between 1992 and 2004 (Sheila Jordan, Jay Clayton, Mark Murphy, Nancy Marano, Vivian Lord-Aldge, Rachel Gould, Kate Baker, just to name a few) and at the age of twenty-eight she passed the Lower Lyric Singing exam (equal to today's three-year academic year) at the "A.Pedrollo" Conservatory in Vicenza, studying first as a private student at the Manzato Institute in Treviso, under the guidance of Elisabetta Tandura and then again as a private student with Elisabetta Battaglia.

She sings as a soloist in groups of various genres from pop (LENONO, female group, HEARTLY HEAVEN, unreleased tracks) to the blues-rock of Robben Ford (POLLO BAND) to the funky soul of Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin and 70/80 funk ( SIFASOUL) to Incognito's acid jazz (BLACKJAM). Her voice is also appreciated in the field of Dance music and she records songs for independent and non-independent labels (GENERAL RECORDS, Verona; MEDIA RECORDS, Brescia; PROPRIO RECORDS, Milan; STUDIO BWL, Milan; ZIIOZOO PRODUCTIONS, Modena; UNITED STUDIOS, Udine) . She is firmly convinced that all these experiences will give life to a complete and multifaceted artist, but it is the study that makes her competent in this field.

Numerous trips abroad are part of her curious character towards the unknown (New York, Buffalo, Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, London Amsterdam, Munich, Mexico Tour, San Diego, Los Angeles, Salzburg, Vienna, Croatia, Singapore , Tour of Malaysia, Tour of Australia, Tour of Egypt, Malaga) and open her mind more than any other experience.

Having learned about the Monari Method (Bologna), in 1998 she obtained the diploma of therapist attending the center and inspired by the latter her teaching method by working on the muscular structure, dissolving tensions that block the correct use of the body. Always in search of new vocal techniques, she arrives at Mixed-Voice during the "Voce Pura" Congress in April 2018 in Verona, a technique that simplifies the setting of the voice for both the teacher and the student.

She continues her teaching by collaborating with various music schools but in 2012 he gives life to the Note Vocali Association and with it she organizes musicals for her students to professionally introduce them to the world of entertainment.

During this fairly long period she is absent from live performances and becomes the mother of two beautiful children.

In 2018 she returns to music and, after a Masterclass with Maestro Barry Harris in November in Bologna (which will be followed by three more in Rome), she understands that teaching is no longer sufficient to fill the void created by the suspension of live performances. and pushed by the recognition of her talent by such an authoritative figure she returns to sing with jazz bands. This is followed by the Masterclasses of Massimo Cavalli (2019), Jorge Rossy (2021),Ares Tavolazzi (2022) at the Conservatory of Vicenza,the one held by Sandy Patton (2022-2023) and Rodney L.Bradley Matthews (2023) during the Bobby Durham's Festival in Livorno and in Darfo (BS).

In August 2019 she recorded her first jazz album entitled "After the rain" supported by a group of musician friends and understood that "it is no longer a pure and simple return, but a definitive being".

In August 2021 she recorded her second jazz record entitled "Spirits" .

On 7 July 2022 she obtained the II Level Academic Diploma in Jazz Singing and Musical Disciplines at the "A.Pedrollo" Conservatory of Vicenza.

On November 2022 she recorded her third album entitled "Re-Birth".

On April 2023 she recorded her fourth album "Chet's mood".
